Merino wool and recycled nylon sock/fingering weight yarn hand dyed in a one-of-a-kind variant (trial 8) of the Yarntuary colorway “Levitating”, named after the song by Dua Lipa.
The main differences between the final colorway and this variant are that this variant is lighter and has areas of light pink.
The color of this variant is a beautiful light purple pink orchid color with areas of light pink throughout.
The yarn is a yummy, fingering weight, 2-ply, superwash, sock yarn (weight 1), composed of 80% merino wool and 20% recycled nylon. It contains 400 yd and weighs 100 g.
It works up really beautifully and can be used for a wide range of projects, such as socks, sweaters, scarves and more!
The yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and thoroughly rinsed in order to prevent bleeding, but I would still recommend hand washing on its own for the first wash.
Hand wash garments made with this yarn in room temperature water or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water with low spin. Air dry.
