This one is so easy…and imagine the color possibilities!
This listing is for a free PDF (instant-download) of the Making Contact Shawl Crochet Pattern, inspired by the scenes in Stranger Things Season 1 where Eleven goes into the deprivation tank/bath in her suit and electrodes and travels into the blackness of the void.
This pattern is EASY - the whole scarf is made using only sc (single crochet). Color changes are effortless as they occur at the ends of rows where indicated and you don’t carry any colors.
There are clear, detailed instructions and pictures throughout. In case you need it, there is a bonus section at the end that goes over the stitches and color change step-by-step with photos.
This one is definitely for those who prefer mindless crochet!
The shawl feels very luxurious and modern when worn and is definitely worth the time to make! Although the pattern is mainly one simple stitch, it works up really pretty. Combine three colors you like together. Imagine the possibilities! I already know which colors I am going to use next time I make the shawl.
The level of this pattern is BEGINNER, but it's satisfying for any level.
Measurements (inches Width x Length):
Materials:
3 hanks of and Yarntuary weight 1 yarn. Shown in photos is 80% Merino Wool, 20% Nylon Yarn in colorways Eleven is Gone, I Know What I Saw and Making Contact (400yds, 100 g, weight 1) and size E (3.5 mm) crochet hook
Tapestry needle & Scissors
Idea: Since the pattern is just repeating one row, you could instead use 1-3 hanks of any color and just not do color changes or do equal sections of different colors. You can get 28 rows out of each color when chain number specified in pattern. If going with one color or equal sections of different colors, you could also modify the length by chaining a different number at the beginning.
