PDF instant-download of the She Smiled Sweetly Cowl Crochet Pattern. This cowl was named after the Rolling Stones song. I was reminded of the tune time and time again while designing and making these cowls. The cowl is beautiful, like a woman that makes you smile, but I can also see the intensity of the man's feelings when I look at the stitches in the top of the hat and the tumultuous nature of the stitches.

The soft, rippling stitches of the cowl are pleasing to the eye. It is super soft, oh so cozy, very complementary when worn and pairs well with many outfits. It is one of those accessories you can expect to get compliments on for sure! It is also an accessory that can be worn in fall, winter and spring as it is not too bulky.

This is a quick project, taking only 4 hours (or less depending on how fast you are) to make! It would make a great last minute gift or a good treat for yourself that you can whip up quickly before returning to your growing list non-self makes!

It is also reversible - both sides are super cute!

The majority of the cowl is worked by repeating a segment of rows, so this is a fairly mindless project once you get the hang of it.

The level of this pattern is intermediate and has plenty of helpful pictures, as well as stitch explanations. With that said, I think a crocheter at an advanced beginner level could also tackle it and I am of course here to help in case there is any confusion/sticking points.

The size of the cowl is one-size fits most women, however the size is extremely easy to customize and I explain in the pattern how to change width and height, if desired. The cowl measures 15 in tall by 11.5 in wide across center.

Materials used are: 1 skein Yarnspirations Bernat Velvet Stitch ‘N Win (100% polyester, 315 yds/288 m, 300g/10.5 oz, color shown is Pagoda)
OR 1 skein premier yarns Parfait (100% polyester, 574 yds/525m, 10.5 oz/300g) and a size J (6mm hook), tapestry needle and stitch markers.

I do not except returns or exchanges on digital items, however please let me know if you are unsatisfied for any reason so that I can make it right! I want' you to be completely happy with your purchase and am here to assist you in any way I can!

This cowl has become a go-to pattern for me that I make again and again. I know you will love it, too!
